What to do on a warm sunny weekend day in Amsterdam? Go to the zoo in the morning. Both Ruby and Jente spent a lot of time being put in and then taken out of these funny little wagons. We saw a lot of animals, including a baby giraffe, and the sea lions (a constant must for Ruby, who calls them by their French name "phoques" which sounds quite a lot like the f-word and has caused me some funny looks).

Then have a nice long midday nap.

Then jump back on the bikes and check out a playground in Amsterdam's big park, the Vondelpark.

Ruby has been sleeping like a log since we got here and even asks to go "dodo." Wonder why?!
