Being the typical girl, Ruby is really into big machinery and vehicles. Brooklyn is always a great location for garbage trucks, street cleaning trucks, and tons of heavy equipment at construction sites, of which there are plenty in our neighborhood. She learned to say "tracteur" at a very early age.

While in France Ruby did not miss her big machines though. She was enamored with Papi's tractor and could not contain her excitement when she saw Francis' quad when we visited with our close friend Jean-Claude and his sons, Pierre and Francis. Francis came zooming into the courtyard, Ruby ran up the machine and allowed Francis, who she had never met and would otherwise act shyly towards, to install her on this monster motorbike.

Maybe Ruby will follow in Tia Jaya's quad and motorbike riding footsteps?!
