Poor Ruby is still struggling with her cold, and so am I as a result. She's generally feeling fine during the day, despite her sniffles, but at night she is definitely more bothered with her congestion and is fussy, so I'm getting even less sleep...poor us.

This didn't stop us from partying yesterday afternoon. After a nice lunch at the Jackson Diner, well known for its amazing Indian food, we stopped over to hang out with some of the folks who worked hard to get Tom Leedham elected President of the Teamsters Union. Sadly enough Tom wasn't elected, although he did hold his ground by getting close to 40% of the votes. Ruby was there cheering folks along and doned a Teamsters for a Democratic Union sticker for the occasion. She even agreed to pose with major troublemaker (and avid birdwatcher) Mike R.
