As promised, here is one of the gifts my sister brought (the other gifts were some gorgeous outfits that her best friend, Annelie, sent along for Ruby): another pair of fancy Baby Dior shoes. As you can see, Ruby is now outfitted with sporty fall Baby Dior sneakers and fashionable (for the galas and whatnot) winter Baby Dior boots.
Besides being generally worried about Ruby's possible lack of a decent upbringing when it comes to clothing fashions, Jaya is mostly worried about her shoe collection. She has now promised to be in charge of all Ruby's foot needs (including pedicures Jaya?)!
Sadly enough Jaya left this afternoon. We had a wonderful week with her, despite the hectic stuff going-on otherwise: David starting his new job, taking another cat to the vet, buying a car, selling our truck etc. Jaya helped sooth some frayed nerves. Last night she took care of Ruby (Ruby slept and so Jaya dozed--anyone else up for babysitting, it's when you can catch up on your sleep!) while David and I popped up the street for a nice meal together. She also bought David a iPod so he can listen to all his favorite tunes while blowing leaves on the 80acres (32hectares) he nows helps maintain.
Latest Ruby skill: she nows happily accepts a bottle from David. I'll catch a shot sometime soon; that is, when David will allow me in the room while he's giving her the bottle--it's his private time with Ruby!
