Yesterday Ruby insisted she help me go through the mail, because she wanted to see if there were any 11-month old birthday cards for her. There weren't, but she was a trooper and had fun sorting the mail anyways.
Happy 11 months my darling Ruby! Just one more month and you'll be starting your second year with us already. Amazing. Today I noticed that her clothes are getting tighter and are almost on the small side, so that just brings it home even more how fast she's growing. And as extra little surprise for us, she definitely is trying to sign back to us. Instead of making a whisker on her cheek for cat, she made one of her ear, but close enough no?!

I think that signing stuff is so cool! I found out about when Matias was starting to talk... too late. It's great that you are experiencing this with her.

Ik ben heel benieuwd of het echt zo makkelijk gaat, dan lijkt het me ook wel wat voor ons.
Jente zegt nog niet veel meer dan jajaja en maaaaa. En qua gebaren kan ik alleen het gbaar voor slapen duidelijk zien, dan wrijft ze in haar oogjes. Maar ik geloof dat het officiele gebaar voor slapen weer een andere is. Hebben jullie nog tips voor een paar gebaren?
