Today Ruby spent some time at the Floating Pool at Brooklyn Bridge Park Beach. To explain: some funky folks with a crazy dream decided to build a pool on a barge and docked the barge in the East River, close to the Brooklyn Bridge, with this awesome view of lower Manhattan. The result being that all summer long 175 people at a time are allowed to spend 90mins lazing in the water, for the grand entrance fee of...nothing. There aren't many free things in NYC so it was about time we checked this out. Ruby and David loved it. Lets hope we can squeeze in a few more visits before the barge pool closes after the first weekend in September (known as Labor Day weekend for all you non-US folks reading this blog).

Wat een fantastisch uitzicht! Aparte plek lijkt me. Is het nog steeds zo warm bij jullie?
