Admire Ruby's new outfits! That adorable dress was lovingly made by (rolling drumbeats) Mamie. Just to be clear, this dress has a matching diaper cover and a hat!

As for the shoes, now that Ruby is cruising, we thought we should get her some shoes (sorry tia Jaya). Mostly for looks, but also a little for practicality--got to protect her little soft feet from glass and dirt at the playground for example.

Both the dress and shoes will be shown off this weekend on our short vacation in Rhode Island/Block Island with David's family (mom Pat, sister Lissa and niece and nephew Ellaina and Blake). Plenty of pics will follow next Tuesday when we're back!

In the meantime, David and I both have the day off tomorrow, together, without Ruby. Wow. We're going to see Sicko, then have a leisurely lunch and who knows what else tomorrow afternoon. Fun fun fun.
