We had a wild fun-packed weekend. On Saturday I flew to Detroit and back in one day. David was working, so our wonderful and amazing friend Catherine showed up for duty at 5am! Both Catherine and David spoon-fed Ruby fruit puree mixed with a ton of my milk all day long, to ensure that our little bottle-refusing miss would still have a full belly.
Late Saturday David's family showed up and they stayed until yesterday. From left to right--Blake (Ruby's cool cousin), Lissa (David's sister), Pat (David's mom) and Ellaina (another cool cousin) on the floor. Ruby was a little clingy though--either she missed me on Saturday and needed to catch up, or she's just going through a clingy phase. Ellaina perservered and got some Ruby quality time though.
Compare this visit to their very first one, when Ruby was just born!

Hi Blake and Ellaina, you guys look pretty cool - how was the Empire State Building ? And did you catch up on some greasy Chinese food?
Good to see Pat and Lissa - both as radiant as ever. What a memorable day, that Sunday, especially if you take into account that it was Mothers's Day in France on the 3rd of June! So quite a few Mothers together in this picture!!! Especially if you take the picture-maker into account as well... Love to you all, M.
