It was hot hot hot this week; in the 90s/30s hot and humid. So Ruby had to find some fun ways to stay cool.


Sitting under the sprinklers at the playground was one way, and another was to have a picnic with friends in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.


EJ and Ruby share some watermelon. Unfortunately the watermelon party didn't last long, because security came to tell us that we'd set up too early and that was against the rules and regulations.

Ruby loves EJ's hair and EJ is just fascinated with Anoura's unconventional decision to wear a winter hat. The hat came off fairly soon though and Anoura was in a much better mood suddenly!


After dinner the girls needed to blow off some steam. Megan is doing some crunches and Anoura is trying to catch my feet so she can tickle them.
