Yesterday Ted, Carolina and Catherine visited. Ruby did a series of neck exercises with Ted coaching her and the rest of us cheering her on. Then she needed to rest and get some extra cuddles, which Catherine was more than happy to dole out.
Last night we gave Ruby her first bath. David was a pro and Ruby was a gem for about 5 minutes and then she decided enough was enough. Not bad for a first bathing experience. We washed her hair and I think she probably already needs another bath again, a day later, because I can't keep my hands off that oh so soft baby hair.
But no bath tonight. Tonight Ruby is meeting her papy and mamy from France and I'm sure they will not let her out of their sights long enough for a bath.
Last little Ruby anecdote: she crys tears now. Doesn't happen at first, but now her tear ducts are definitely working. It looks so sad to see those little tears, so we have a cry as little as possible policy and so far she's sticking to it wonderfully.

He Ruby,
Waar zijn je opa en oma nou? Ik ben zo benieuwd hoe ze er uit zien.
Groetjes, Nils
She is so, so cute! I thought it took months to develop tears!
