Our downstairs neighbor and wonderful friend Varda (seen here visiting with Ruby when she was just six hours old!) took Ruby for a long walk yesterday. It was the first time David and I were alone without Ruby. If I hadn't been so nervous (not about being alone with David, but about not having Ruby around ;-) I would have snapped a shot of Varda toting Ruby off in the sling.
