Yesterday my aunt Leidie and uncle Rudo from the Netherlands visited with us for a few hours. Ruby decided to honor them by barely sleeping the entire time, so they got to see more than the shut-eye most visitors get.

It was as good an opportunity as any to show off one of Ruby's many personalized onesies. This one was made by Erin, just a few days after the World Cup this past summer. Lets hope Ruby doesn't butt heads too often in life.

Today has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Ruby. Ruby clearly has an upset stomach, and on consultation with a lactation expert, it seems like she might be having trouble stomaching all the dairy I consume. So I'm off dairy for a few weeks to see if that improves the situation. Big deal for me, as I love my morning milk or yoghurt with my cereals and don't get me started on my cheese consumption...so needless to say, I'm a tad grumpy, in part because it's tough soothing a fussy newborn. Tomorrow's another day.
