Mamy and papy (aka Maaike & Jean-Guillaume) Niemeijer have arrived (Nils--here's a picture)! Ruby has since discovered that it's just as comfy to fall asleep on mamy's chest as it is on her own mama's chest.

This morning we weighed Ruby again. It's been a week and Ruby is gaining more than an ounce a day, which is above average. She's now at 7lbs, 9ounces. No I'm not supplementing my milk with some yummy flavor, but it does explain why I spend about 3 hours a day feeding her: 15mins every few hours or so.

Tomorrow we're off to see a bunch of butterflys at the Natural History Museum. My first subway ride since before Ruby was born and Ruby's first ever. Not sure who is more excited.
