Ruby and I made some yummy applesauce a few days ago. Tasha supervised.

We're looking forward to doing some traditional fall stuff with the babe in the next few weeks. We'll likely go apple picking when we visit Grandma Pat in a few weekends. When we go to Boston to visit our friends Mary & John & Marie & Ana Lucia for the last weekend in October we will be armed with Ruby's first Halloween costume. Not sure what it's going to be yet or even that it's going to be super elaborate. I hadn't brought it up with Ruby yet, but someone clearly had, because Ruby announced she wanted to be a dragon recently. And maybe we'll get out to a city farm this weekend for pumpkin picking, apple cider drinking and hay rides.
