The last few days have been gorgeous so Ruby and I made sure we went on plenty of walks. When it's too hot for me to wear her I put her in the stroller and she gets to lounge (with her feet up on the guard that stops her from going anywhere) while I negotiate the old broken up Brooklyn sidewalks.

Getting her out of the house with sunscreen and a hat on is a challenge though. She doesn't like me putting sunscreen on her face (allowing her to chew on the sunscreen tube helps) and she will do anything to pull the hat off her head. Hence a hat with a strap--not that she can't pull it off her head, but it just takes her a little longer.

Yesterday we went to hang out with our friends Galea and Adelaide. How both girls have grown since their first get-together. Unfortunately a freak summer storm meant we had to rush home after 30mins or so. Still, the girls got to chew on toys for a little while together--their favorite item seemed to be the strap of my camera, which is thankfully long enough for them to chew on at the same time!
