Another blissful day at the beach and doing as little as possible. Ruby and David spent the morning at the beach while I read. I almost finished my book, Spin, by Robert Charles Wilson and it's a long book. This afternoon we wanted to all go kayaking and tried, but the water was pretty choppy so I continued on my own while Ruby and David chased me along the shoreline by foot. That's it, that's pretty much all we did.

In top pic you can see Ruby reading Spin. She likes grabbing our books and then reading out loud to us. It's funny. Her imagination has taken off lately. Tonight it took me a few minutes to come back into the house after watching the sun set with her ("where's the moonie moon mama?") because I kept on forgetting to open the door for Howl and Sophie, her friends from one of her favorite movies.
