I work in child care at the Park Slope Food Co-op once a month. Ruby usually comes along for a hour or so and plays with all the toys that we don't have at home.

My last shift was totally crazy, with lots of end of day riled up kids. Another shift worker was smart enough to suggest that the kids sit down and eat some bagel and have some water. Ruby shared a seat with her temporary best friend--not surprisingly a much older kid who clearly had younger siblings because he knew exactly how to have fun with a younger babe, much to Ruby's delight (and chagrin when David came to pick her up).

Wow, my sound on the computer finally decided to work again... after cat Una knocked a full glass of wine over the keyboard. So soaked up the last videos with a screeching, jumping and enthusiastic Ruby. Lisa : you look great and so does Elaina... with shorter than usual hair ? And poor Blake having to haul himself up the stairs of the slide again and again ! Plus trust Pat to think of putting the settee cushions on the floor : I laughed as much as all of you did ! Thank you, Marsha !
Love, M.
