This past weekend was the first long weekend of the summer, Memorial Day weekend. On Sunday we went to the beach. On Monday, another stellar sunny day, we did some summery things in the neighborhood. Ruby devoured an ice-cream while admiring the Brooklyn Museum fountain, then we wandered through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, to finally end up at the Prospect Park Carousel.

Ruby probably gets to ride on a "horsie" about twice a week. She absolutely adores it. It's probably the only time ever that she'll sit still for more than 30seconds in one go.
