Ruby is going to miss Marie for a few months. Next week Marie has a well deserved vacation (from working for us AND studying like crazy for her final nursing exams) and then she has to work for a few months in a hospital as a final requirement for her degree.

So, we had to find some other child care arrangements. The best arrangement is the one that involves me not working! Hence Ruby and my month-long trip to Europe in June. In July and part of August Marie's sister, Colleen, will watch Ruby. Ruby is completely and utterly in love with Marie and I am sure with time she will feel the same about Colleen.

Thankfully Ruby won't have to miss her best friend, Sam (seen below with Marie and above with his caregiver, Blossom), or the many other kids that all converge on Sam's house. And it seems like someone will be on hand to give her makeovers like this fancy hairdo featured here!
