A few little updates:
* Thanks to mamie Ruby has a variety of nice warm winter pants, and jackets. Now that it's getting colder we are being challenged however with ways to keep Ruby's head and hands warm outside, because she likes nothing more than to pull off hats (or get very frustrated when she can't pull it off because of chin straps) and gloves. Any tips from you seasoned (ha) parents of willful toddlers?
* Our house is childproofed, but that doesn't mean it is mischief-proofed. Ruby loves grabbing stuff (shoes, socks, the coffee pot, tins of cat food, and basically whatever else she can get her little fingers on) and finding a new home for it: the toilet bowl (she hasn't quite figured out how to lift up the lid of the seat, but that won't be long), the cat litter, the cats water bowl, or outside on the fire escape. It's quite funny and we really do giggle at her ingenuity.

I'll think about the head cover & mitten problem... am sure to be able to come up with something. Starting with a long string with the mittens fixed on either ends and this is pulled through both sleeves. Doesn't mean that she still doesn't pull off mittens but at least she won't lose them. Will keep you posted.

Precies, zo'n touwtje is erg handig. Heb ik net ook gehaakt voor Jente's handschoentjes, ookal passen die nog niet zo goed bij die kleine handjes, het is wat in elk geval. Soms is het ook een kwestie van gewenning. De eerste paar keer is een muts niet leuk, maar als het echt koud is, dan is het algauw best. Hier gaat een muts en das alweer een paar weken mee.

je hoeft niet bang te zijn dat die kleintjes verkouden worden van een koud hoofdje of koude handjes.
Een verkoudheid krijg je van een virus, als je te weinig weerstand hebt.
Als ze het echt koud krijgen, willen ze heus wel die muts en wantjes aan!
Als ze maar warme voetjes hebben!!
