So almost a month later, here are some pictures from Ruby's two birthday parties. Next year I will strive to post them a little faster. And thanks to papie for all these pics--I was happy not to be in charge of documenting everything while he was visiting!


David seemed more impressed with the balloons than the birthday girl herself did?!


She was ready to take a bite even before we had blown out the candle!


Ruby didn't actually get much of the chocolate cake that she bit into above. Instead we gave her only the slightly less messier carrot cake.


Marie enjoyed the chocolate cake though.


Granda Pat made an applesauce cake, and again, the candle was what got most of Ruby's attention.
