I just tossed out this carved pumpkin that David and Ruby did together. It's kind of how I feel every morning when the daily candy negotiations resume.

"No not until after breakfast. Just one piece a day. Yes, you can choose it out now, but please don't eat it until after x meal. You already had your one candy piece today."

I am determined to do this diferently next year (I had to show real restraint not to toss it all out, but I did toss about about 80% and suprisingly, the babe doesn't seem to have noticed that she rapidly went from 60 days of candy to only about 5 more!), and thankfully I have a year to figure out how!
