My friend Megan and I are embarking on ambitious few years as the newly elected M&M team on the leadership body of Solidarity. Because we are sharing one leadership slot we have decided we need to hang out together more, girls in tow of course! Who said leadership was such a burden when we can talk politics over coffee and pastries while watching a 2 and 3 year old interact and make us laugh?! Ruby truly loves and adores EJ so it's not hard getting her out of the house to go visit.

This weekend we met amid boxes because Megan and EJ are moving. Ruby got EJ's old winter jacket and she's been wearing it nonstop ever since. We had pancakes amid the boxes but it didn't stop us from laughing when Ruby told Megan she looks funny while eating. "Megan, you crack me up," she said. And both babes decided to go wade in the bathtub and get slathered in shampoo--I should have known something fishy was going on when Ruby kept on coming to see me and asking to remove her clothing.
