A few days ago I was walking home with Ruby from a meeting. We were going to meet David and our friend Jen for dinner.

"Ruby, thanks for coming to that meeting with me. That made me happy."
"Mama, I want french fries and snake for dinner."
"Do you like snake? What does it taste like?"
"Like fruit."
"Wow, that does sound tasty. Who gave you snake for dinner?"
"Jen."
"Ruby, you crack me up sometimes."
"Where?"
"It's an expression babe. It's another way of saying that I love you."
