Alright, so our time-line is getting mixed up here. This is a cutesy picture from when David and Ruby spent a weekend a weekend in Detroit with David's friend, Susan. Whatever they were doing, it was clearly fun. And you've just gotta love her style--boots but no pants.

Talking about pants, they're a big issue these days. Anything that has to do with getting dressed is an issue. Not a bad issue perse, but certainly challenging. Ruby wants to put on her own pants and will frequently sit down and change pants throughout the day (although jeans are hard to get over her diapered butt, so she's favoring sweat pants). All her other clothes...well, she'll reject pretty much everything, and refuse to accept the harsh reality that it's really too cold to go out with just pants on. I've given up on expecting any color coordinated combinations and am really just thrilled when she's sufficiently dressed for the outdoors.
