Ruby loves her Dreyfus--most of the time. She'll often ask to hug him and give him a kiss before she goes to bed at night, or when we get home and he's waiting for us by the door.

But other times she'll take out whatever frustrations she has on him, by pulling his tail or ears or just outright hitting him.

Obviously we put a stop to that as soon as we see it, but thankfully Dreyfus has almost never ever taken a swipe at Ruby. Maybe once in the last few years have we heard a scream because Dreyfus' nail was stuck in her clothes. She's never been scratched. So we all love Dreyfus even more for that.
