We had a short but relaxed weekend with David's family. Ruby was less interested in the presents than she was in singing happy birthday and blowing out her two candles. And although she has developed an mildly annoying, but hopefully short-lived, obsession with her Maisy dvd, she was still able to find ways to bond with her favorite cousins, Blake (aka "Brake" according to Ruby) and Ellaina (who she no longer calls "Nenna").

The only thing we were happy to come back home to this evening in NYC--warmer temperatures (on a side note, I am so not looking forward to the winter; Ruby, on the other hand, loves wearing her hats these days and was excited with I unpacked her winter hats).
