Last weekend we were all on the road. David and Ruby left on Thursday for Detroit, where they had a really great time hanging out with David's old friend, Susan. I left on Friday for Raleigh, North Carolina, to get some work done with tie Global. We all returned happily exhausted on Sunday afternoon.

Next weekend, thankfully, we're not traveling (only weekend in October though, because I'm off to represent the Pratt/Hyland/Niemeijer family at the Teamsters for a Democratic Union Convention the weekend after next).
