Today I watched Millie and Posie while mom Michelle took a breather.

The girls hang out a lot together, so Ruby feels completely at home in their apartment. Enough so that last week Marie dropped her off there at 5pm and she had dinner with the girls until I could pick her up (David usually comes home at 5pm, but he was off to some super long opera that night with a friend).

Ruby has become much easier when it comes to leaving her with other people. This morning she played in the child care at our food co-op while David shopped for example. She loves it there--a steady supply of free bagels, a ton of toys and usually plenty of kids that she can watch. Even though we complain about our monthly work shifts at the food co-op, it's a treat to have child care for when we shop and so cool that Ruby finally likes being there.

Good to see this and hang onto her : before you know it she's up and away, so enjoy while it lasts !
But this socializing thing is also a good thing : means she'll hopefully take to daycare like a fish to water.
Will send Two's powder off in the mail tomorrow.
Love and hugs, M.
