Life is pretty busy right now for us. David's job is always on the go, driving around Long Island, preparing trainings, evening meetings and such. My job has become somewhat out of control, as we prepare for Labor Notes' major national conference, April 11-13. I have the lovely job of being full-time main conference organizer, on part-time hours.

But Ruby somehow finds ways to just chill out. Lately we'll find her on the bed, quietly reading a book by herself (for all of two minutes and then it's off again to another task). It's amazing she isn't smothering or harassing Dreyfus.
