Ruby is six months old today! She had her check-up with her pediatrician to celebrate (well, we're having cake tonight) and was declared in perfect health, size and what not. She is still on the low side for weight (14.11lbs/6.3kg) and on the long side for length (I forget, but I think it was roughly 22in/58cm).

We've had a busy few days, so I have a bunch of pictures saved up for the next few postings. From top to bottom:

* Ruby got a 6 month birthday kiss from me.

* Ruby and David decided to play with an empty box (filled previously with Seventh Generation baby diapers) and while Ruby was too short to see the apartment whiz by at high speed, she was enjoying the ride.

* Mamie Maaike from France arrived and brought loads of love, laughter and joy, and most importantly, an exciting necklace that fascinates Ruby.

* This past weekend we went to see the other grandmama Pat. David's sister Lissa was out of town, so her kids, Ruby's extra-special cousins, Blake and Ellaina, got to hang out a bunch with us all.
