Welcome (new) Marie! (Old) Marie had to leave for France unexpectedly because her mother had a heart attack. We're thinking of you and Ruby misses you. (New) Marie is wonderful though, not in the least because she was available on such short notice and because she was willing to take care of a whinny sick baby.

More about that. Ruby's fever got worse on Sunday and by then I think she was just totally fed up, so she screamed pretty much most of Sunday afternoon. There just didn't seem to be much we could do to help her, other than walk around with her in our arms.

Thankfully her fever dropped on Monday and another trip to the doc gave us relief that it still didn't seem to be anything but a darn persistent virus. Today was her first fever free day in over a week and Ruby was 100% her smily old self again!
