So I'm clearly not getting around to posting new pics very often lately. A combo of having been out of town, busy searching for a new child care provider (more about that in an upcoming post) and sleep deprivation.

On that latest issue...we're anxiously awaiting some major new trick from Ruby because she has just been too busy to sleep as she's preparing her surprise for us. As a result she is awaking every 1.5-2hours during the night. Maybe we heard her new trick today when she squealed out in high pitched laughter when I came home from a delightfully calm yoga workshop? Or maybe tomorrow she'll start tuning the mandolin instead of just chewing on it?

Anyways, we'll keep you posted! In the meantime a collection of pics. Check out her handmade red booties (thanks auntie Mary!) that are keeping her feet wonderfully warm during this latest deep freeze. Or just enjoy some of her shared moments with David--reading the paper in the morning sun in the kitchen, listening to his mandolin playing and of course, drooling.
