Ruby's enjoying the view (of the tv, sigh) from the porch of her little house.

I've been in a bit of blogging rut lately. Grabbing the camera--as opposed to picking up after the babe--or sitting down to write--as opposed to running around--just ain't happening these days. Remembering to take the camera with me will help.

But having a tad more free time might be the real solution. I'm not sure how this happened, but right now I'm organizing childcare for the Solidarity Convention in February (where I might run for leadership, which is really kind of crazy given my time constraints), and on the organizing committee for a Labor Notes Troublemaker's School in March in NYC. Or maybe I'll just post a huge amount of pictures from a caravan I'm helping Houston longshore workers organize and which will drive from Houston to Tampa in a few weeks, with me on it (Ruby's not going along for the ride though, so boring right?!).

Anyways, bear with me as I only sporadically post. Blogging life will pick up again and in the meantime know that it's not for lack of life and activity and laughter and joy that we're not blogging. Au contraire, life is quite full and fun!

Great new title heading : what with the seagulls, the waves and the blue yonder. And as far as the blog goes : we are grateful for anything we get as long as you don't overdo things, darling daughter !
Big hug from your mamsie.
