I was planning to get this up sooner, but was floored by a stomach bug Monday and Tuesday. I spent most of the time in bed, or in the bathroom, while David watched Ruby. They had a blast--going to see a free show of the Nutcracker, grocery shopping, hanging out at Joyce's Bakeshop and so forth. Ruby got a real papa David fix. When she woke up from one her naps yesterday and I went in to get her, she pointed towards the door and asked "dada?"

But I'm better now. So the above pic is from Sunday. Ruby and I went to see an anti-war movie in Megan, Adam and EJ's neighborhood in the afternoon and then we all trekked over to their house for dinner, where David joined us (fresh from his Saturday afternoon French class). We had some delicious spinach pasta with ricotta and garlic bread. Both girls sat on my lap while they ate their dinner. Ruby and EJ had a lot of fun together.
