So much is happening in Ruby's city and country right now--although from her laid-back attitude you wouldn't know.

But that's going to change soon, as we're taking her to the January 27 anti-war demonstration in DC & if we'd gotten our act together we would have taken her to a demonstration against police-brutality (thanks to Jaya for the picture; she bumped into the demonstration accidentally while shopping) and in honor of Sean Bell, an African-American young man who was shot 50 times the night before we was getting married.

I'm pretty sure there will be plenty more demonstrations for Ruby to go to. She is, afterall, a red diaper baby.
