(It's a unicorn, in case you were wondering...)
It's been really hot lately--like Southern France hot. So lots of outdoors for us, especially playgrounds with sprinklers for the babe and plenty of shade for us. Today we got our gear (sunglasses and bike helmets) and went over to a family arts day at PS46, where we hope Ruby might get into the dual language (Spanish-English) program for her kindergarten year (2011). We stayed for a few hours, and she left tired but soaked from the sprinklers and excited because of the popcorn and snow cone (she did not wait in line with me, so thankfully I was able to request less of the disgustingly sweet syrup on hers).
