Marie starts at 10am, so I have some time to spend with Ruby in the morning before the day's craziness really even takes shape. We take our time getting dressed, we munch on breakfast, I get some of the days chores out of the way (or catch up on those hat didn't get done the night before) and then we head "side."

First we wander up to Joyce's Bakeshop and I get a latte to go and Ruby gets a scone. Then we head out to the playground (which is surprisingly quiet until about when we leave, so Ruby has the place to herself and just one or two other babes). And we play.

That's all. Play for an hour or so before the work day starts. Bliss if you ask me. I know Ruby loves it too.

Here she helped herself to another kid's sunglasses. Look good no?! I think we have to get her some shades.
